GL Homes' original contemporary community of 804 homes on Lyons Road in west Boca Raton, with a resort clubhouse, a racquet center and no club membership to buy.
Lotus sits on the west side of Lyons Road just north of Clint Moore Road in west Boca Raton (ZIP 33496), in unincorporated Palm Beach County with a Boca Raton mailing address. Delray Marketplace is a few minutes north on Lyons Road, Florida's Turnpike about ten minutes away at Atlantic Avenue, and Town Center at Boca Raton about twenty. GL's newer Lotus communities are Lotus Edge, further up Lyons Road, and Lotus Palm on Glades Road in central Boca.
Lotus is the original of GL Homes' three Lotus communities and the largest. Palm Beach County records show 804 single-family homes, recorded as Bridges Mizner PUD Bridges South in seven plats, built from 2019 to 2022, many of them on lakes. The gatehouse on Lyons Road is staffed around the clock, and with the builder sold out the market is now entirely resales.
Daily life centers on the resort clubhouse at the edge of the community: a beach-entry resort pool and whirlpool spa, a lap pool, an interactive splash pad, a weekend pool bar and outdoor café, a social lounge with a bar, a fitness center with a dance and fitness studio, locker rooms, an indoor sports court, game and card rooms, a kids' playroom, a covered playground, a party pavilion and a yoga lawn. Everything comes with the home through the homeowners association: no club membership, initiation fee or equity, and no golf course.

The racquet center has six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, six lighted pickleball courts, a full outdoor basketball court and a tennis pro shop, with lessons, clinics and league play.
Every home at Lotus is contemporary: flat and low-pitched roofs, clean stucco, glass and stone, open plans and covered outdoor living. GL Homes offered two collections: Fiji, with eight plans from about 1,966 to 4,500 square feet, and Bali, four larger plans from about 2,762 to 5,160 square feet. Beaches MLS records show 46 resales closed in the last 12 months, from $1.35M to $3.00M, with a median of $2.08M. See every home's estimated value and each recent resale on the 3D map.
Homeowners association dues cover the clubhouse, pools and racquet center, the staffed gate, lawn care for each home and the common grounds and lakes. Published dues have been about $720 a month; confirm the current figure and any capital contribution with the association before you buy. The community is pet-friendly within the association's rules.
Lotus is served by the School District of Palm Beach County; area schools have included Whispering Pines Elementary, Eagles Landing Middle and Olympic Heights Community High. Boundaries change, so confirm the assignments for a specific address with the district. Private schools within about 15 to 25 minutes include Saint Andrew's School, Pine Crest Boca Raton and Donna Klein Jewish Academy.
Delray Marketplace is about five minutes north on Lyons Road. Florida's Turnpike is about ten minutes away at Atlantic Avenue and I-95 about fifteen. Town Center at Boca Raton and Boca Raton Airport are each about twenty minutes, and downtown Delray Beach and the beach about twenty-five. Palm Beach International is about 35 minutes and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International about 45. Drive times are approximate and vary with traffic.
